On Wednesday, 22nd October 2025, the Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly hosted three other Assemblies, namely Weija Gbawe, Ga South, and Ablekuma West, for the Budget Hearings of the 2026-2029 Composite Budget of MMDA’s at the Robotics Center of the Wesley Grammar Senior High School in Dansoman. The event brought together Representatives from the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council, Municipal Chief Executives, and Municipal Coordinating Directors of the various Assemblies and other stakeholders.
The hearings provided a vital platform for Assemblies to present, review, and discuss their medium-term development plans and budget proposals, ensuring alignment with national priorities and fostering transparency and accountability in local governance.
