On Monday, 1st September 2025, the Municipal Chief Executive of Ablekuma North, Hon. Adamu Musah Kalamu led a massive clean-up exercise at Darkuma Kokompe.
The exercise formed part of the Assembly’s continuous efforts to promote environmental cleanliness, improve sanitation, and sensitize residents on the importance of proper waste management.
Hon. Kalamu joined Assembly staff, community members, and stakeholders in desilting drains, sweeping streets, and clearing refuse from unauthorized dumping sites. He emphasized that maintaining a clean environment is a shared responsibility and cautioned residents against indiscriminate dumping of waste
